Climate and Environmental Sciences are presenting exciting challenges for data sciences community to not only innovate on algorithms and computational frameworks, but also make a significant impact for the common good. In this presentation, I will outline some of the challenges in mobilizing data, information, networks, and knowledge to drive climate change adaptation and present our recent work in this space. I will also introduce the problem of invasive species management, and present our work on integrating diverse sources of data and innovations in network and data sciences to help take the important and critical steps in this direction.
